Zen Sangha vzw membership 2024

 

 

Your membership is an expression of support for the spirit and operations of our Sangha.

Base membership costs 100 euros and applies to the calendar year 2024.

Cost-contributory membership costs 250 euros.

On top of the 100 euro base membership, you pay 150 euros as a contribution to costs (rent, heating, administration, etc.) for participating in – on average – one meditation session per week in Ghent or in a local group. In other words the 150 euro cost contribution replaces the suggested donation of 5 euros for an entire year for participation in an average of one meditation session per week. If you regularly participate in our meditation sessions, we invite you to consider cost-contributory membership.

 

Intensive cost-contributory membership is possible from 325 euros.

The intensive cost-contributing membership is intended for people who regularly have a conversation with Frank Roshi and includes the Zen Sangha base membership of 100 euros, the cost contribution of 150 euros and an additional gift of at least 75 euros.

As an intensive cost-contributing member, you enjoy a 5 euro discount per day when participating in sesshins.

 

Supporting membership is possible from 500 euros.

Supporting membership is intended for people who have a weekly conversation with Frank Roshi and includes the Zen Sangha membership of 100 euros, the cost contribution of 150 euros and an additional gift of at least 250 euros.

As a supporting member you also enjoy a 5 euro discount per day when participating in sesshins.

 

 

 

PRACTICAL

Transfer the amount to our account (see below) with the appropriate mention of base-member 2024, cost-contributing member 2024, intensive cost-contributing member 2024 or supporting member 2024.

Please state your own name clearly. The name of the account holder is insufficient and sometimes confusing.

 

Note: if you wish to pay your cost contribution in monthly instalments, you can do this by transferring a monthly amount to our account number stating ‘monthly cost contribution’:

 

8.5 euros/month – regular member

21 euros/month – cost-contributing member

27 euros/month – intensive cost-contributing member

minimum 42 euros/month – supportive membership

We ask you to renew your membership yourself in January or February.

We do not provide any certificates for (tax) deductions or proof of costs.
